چکیده
In this study, monthly streamflow and satellite-based actual evapotranspiration data (AET) were used to evaluate the Soil Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model for calibration of an experimental sub-basin with mixed land-use characteristics in Athens, Greece. Three scenarios performed using (i.e., single variable), AET streamflow–AET together multi-variable) provide insights into how different affect hydrological processes a catchment complex land use characteristics. The obtained from Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS). was achieved SUFI-2 algorithm SWAT-CUP program. results suggested that variable calibrations showed moderately better performance than multi-variable calibration. However, scenario displayed acceptable outcomes both indicated reasonably good estimations (NSE = 0.70; R2 0.86; PBIAS 6.1%). under-predicted all during dry season compared MODIS AET. Overall, study demonstrated data, can enhance be choice watersheds lacking sufficient spatial observations.

Influence of Scale on SWAT Model Calibration for Streamflow
The Soil Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) was implemented in the 281,000 ha St. Joseph River Watershed (SJRW) to investigate the influence of multiple scales on stream flow model calibration parameters (Fig.1). The relationship between model calibration parameters and associated hydrological response units (HRU) between different scales is not well understood. In this investigation, two scales were...
متن کاملAssessing interannual variability of evapotranspiration at the catchment scale using satellite‐based evapotranspiration data sets
[1] The catchment water‐energy balance at the interannual scale remains a challenge for bridging the important gap in our knowledge of the hydrologic cycle. This study investigates interannual evapotranspiration (ET) variability and water‐energy balance at over 547 catchments across the contiguous United States in different climate zones. The investigation is based on ET data estimated from sat...

SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) is a comprehensive, semi-distributed river basin model that requires a large number of input parameters, which complicates model parameterization and calibration. Several calibration techniques have been developed for SWAT, including manual calibration procedures and automated procedures using the shuffled complex evolution method and other common methods. ...

abstract evapotranspiration (et) determination is a key factor for irrigation scheduling, water balance, irrigation system design and management and crop yields simulation. therefore many scientists have tried to estimate evapotranspiration in different spatial and temporal scales. remote sensing is a one of new technique in estimation of et in regional scales. so, in this study it’s tried to e...
